Our Vision

Our goal is not to be a church for the community. That is merely a place to go. We have no desire to be another church in the community, simply existing with no real function.

Our vision is for Lexington Church of God to be a church to our community.

This will be accomplished by training, discipling, and equipping men and women to take the Gospel of Christ into our homes, workplaces, and community. Our desire is to fulfill both the Great Commission and the Vision of God.  This is a living vision, not to be simply written, rather to be lived out in the hearts and lives of the body of Christ at LexCOG.

Our mission is one of Commission.  God has called all to fulfill the Great Commission as recorded in the books of Matthew and Acts.

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost…”

Mat 28:19

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”

  Acts 1:8
